Theoretical... We have a top 10 pick and have the choice of a stud receiver or DT...

What about OLB (Zach Thomas...i don't see him as a top 12 pick but...) or OG (David DeCastro)?

Think they'll enter the draft open minded. If McClain & Fua continue developing they could target DL in medium to late rounds (depth). The same could be said for Brandon Hogan...

Wow I don't know how I haven't heard about this guy Vontaze Burfict of Arizona State. He plays MLB but would be a beast in the SLB position (allowing Anderson to play WLB) in our scheme and would provide excellent insurance if Beason can't come back in time. He has outstanding size at 6'3" 250 lbs and has great closing speed. He also is good in pass rush and has great lateral quickness to avoid blockers. You just got to watch him play, straight up beast.

Have you been watching this D? Because if you think LB is not a need thats silly.

two of our starting LBs, one of them is one of the best LBs in the NFL, are on IR

And you want us to draft a MLB in the first round when we have so many other pressing needs.

I think we should draft a LB maybe in the 4th or 5th just in case whatever happens with TD, but our first two picks need to be used on WR, CB, or DT.

Justin Blackmon is far and away the best WR available. I'm not a big fan of Jeffery or Floyd. Jeffery just looks slow to me; not sure he'd work that well in our offense. Floyd is pretty run-of-the-mill as far as 1st round WR prospects go. Even if he works out I don't think he'd be THAT good.

Truthfully, I'd rather trade up for Blackmon than settle for Jeffery.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
