Gameday snacks and beverages?

I absolutely love meeting up with the fellows every Sunday to watch my panthers play. We usually make a day out of it at the local bar. This brings me to this question. What are your gameday snacks you tend to have when watching your team? Is it the typical hot wings and beer or what?

at my tailgate we ALWAYS have:

beer brauts

hot dogs

occasionally I will make my world famous panther burgers

sometimes someone brings chicken fillets

it's usually just hot dogs and brauts

we also have plenty of potato salad, chips, and layer dip

I also have a staple that I bring, pimento cheese.

sometimes I bring pigs in a blanket, but I am usually prepping everything at 1AM hammered drunk the night before and I will end up eating a lot of the pigs n blankets

Buffalo turds.

We make them ahead of time and take 'em to the bar. We are good friends with the owner and he doesn't mind especially if we share them with the staff.

my friend was in the navy and was in san diego for about a year, we went to a cook out at his house 3 weeks ago and he made these for us. fuging incredible

What are buffalo turds? I normally do the wings. We all take turns at the bar buying pictures of beer.

Mmmmmmmm.... nothing like looking at a picture of beer. Do they have game day picture specials??

Turds are jalepenos cut in half with a smoked mini sausage, cream cheese wrapped in bacon.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
