I don't consider Otah untouchable, I just don't know how much value he has. It'll be tough to trade him for something of value.

completely disagree. while we got manhandled by the saints oline, a dt of the value we would get for otah would not change this. almost every third down was the result of poor play from out linebackers. 2 or more players would almost always move in to cover someone in the flat or running an out pattern, leaving whoever one person was previously covering wide open. this happened throughout the entire game. thats exactly what sean payton's offense tried to exploit.

Otah does have value. To the panthers, and to any other team needing a strong right tackle. I'm sure there are a few of those teams out there. Of those teams, do they have a surplus of good starting quality defensive tackles that they would be willing to trade one away to shore up their line. I can only think of one team, the lions, but their oline doesn't need to help.

Once agaiin...explore the possibilites of reality before you say no one is willing to explore them..obviously you haven't.
