Just put clear fingernail polish on them, gone in a day. Can't say I've had them in the gooch though.

The bite and use a chemical that breaks down the flesh, they eat the "rotting" part, then fall off. After they are gone they start to itch like crazy. Many in the South think that they are burrowed into the skin and the polish will suffocate them. Not true.

Not much you can really do, just try some hydrocortisone cream.

This would also work for strains, sprains, bruises, bee stings and mosquito bites.

Interesting. I will say though, the polish for me at least, helps with the itching. Part of the reason they go away (in my mind at least), could be that I'm not scratching at them when they're painted up and it allows the skin to heal.

red bugs are long gone by the time you feel the itch- Im pretty much immune to the little bastids now but when they bothered me either hyrocoritsone creme or benadryl spray worked
