the panthers offense is Cam.....we are an QB injury away from being worse than last years
um...so is the saints, colts (whoops found that out), packers, pats, chargers, falcons, or just about any other team that has a legit QB starting.

if you don't have a solid starting QB, you are going to suck.

if your legit starting QB gets hurt and put on IR, you are going to suck.

:lurk5:
meh...calling him a scab on the infrected butt of humanity on a message board does nothing to help his career. i don't watch him (unless it's a video posted on youtube that espn gets no credit for). i don't link him. i don't click links. i don't even write out his name or the name of that show.

i might post in a thread that people are going to be posting in anyways, but that's it.

Hey everybody... LOok, another talking head is on to tell me what to think...

I'm obviously too dumb to formulate my own opinions, especially after I watched the same game He did... O wait, He probably didn't even watch the game in it's entirety.

Oh well, he's on TV and I should listen to him...

(and people wonder why this fan base is so flaky)

The Fluke INT in the endzone, not Cam's fault, was the game changer.

Also, dont forget the 2 endzone Pass Interferences that setup 2 ATL TD's

Actually after watching the replay several times on my DVR after the game it was totally his fault. After watching it twice during the game it appears that it was a definite TD if the ball wasn't tipped.

However, after watching it several more times it was a terrible throw that would have been behind Smitty regardless.

Don't take my word for it though, watch it for yourself.

I liked that segment. I disagree with Skip's assessment that he should get a 7, but he does deserve SOME blame.

I'd say about 85% defense, 15% Cam.

So many of you hate Skip but he gives our team love regularly. I agree with him in that we are better than we have played. Our talent on offense is underrated as fuuuuu, it's just our coaches don't know how to utilize it.

I watched it repeatedly. I don't think you understand how fast that ball came out. It might have been a smidge behind Smitty but Steve would have had little trouble hauling it in.

With our defense you aren't going to win throwing 3 TD's with no INT's.

How do you know? Cam hasn't been able to throw 3 TD's in one game.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
