Are you a giver or a taker?

I believe in karma and a giving person will ultimately benefit from their efforts. I consider myself a giver, not in the sense that I give spare change to beggars on the street, but I give to people that will actually benefit from my help. I think most people are takers and rarely give without hopes of gaining something in return. It's one of the main problems in this world and I only see the problem getting worse.

So do you consider yourself a giver or a taker?

i gave an extra leaf blower to my new neighbors over a month ago, and told them to keep it since it was just taking up space. they seemed grateful at the time, but haven't so much as offered me a beer in return. they just wave when they see me. kinda pisses me off. damn yankees.

Depends on how you were raised, and if you have the ability to appreciate those that go above and beyond.

Givers sometimes get burned out when your "karma" doesn't come thru in a timely fashion.

not ungrateful, just selfish. if you're giving for the right reasons it shouldn't matter.
