Welcome Charles Johnson to the Huddle everybody.

Haha, I wish!!! Unfortunately I'm just a poor lurker that finally decided to post after years of lurking. I dont even have a super secret source inside the organization like others!!!

I think it's fugged up and a slap in the face to Panther fans.

Peppers grew up and played here but I'd never expect to see him wearing a Carolina hat.

Fugged up.

So that means you have an problem with Goodson wearing a raiders hat that matches his outfit?

We all know He wanted to be a falcon and his family wanted him to be on our team also (falcons) ... You guys blew him out the water with an offer when it looked like he was coming here .... So he stayed there... It is what it is...lol

The sooner you guys understand street style the sooner you'll realize how legaduin retarded this thread has become

CJ may be dressed fine from a street style standpoint. This isn't about fashion.

The Panthers brand is probably one of the top 200 or 300 in the country from a brand value standpoint. As someone who just received $72 million reasons to represent that brand for the benefit of the team, he was stupid for wearing it. Quite a few fans of the brand (read customers) are offended by this, and he should have been intelligent enough and sensitive enough to understand that.

I doubt he gave it a moment's thought before wearing it, but he should have. Hopefully in the future he will think twice.

Google is just now trying to crack the cell market. I would guess that very few people associate the brand Google with smartphones, and Blackberry is not even on the radar screen as one of their primary competitors.

Not a good analogy IMO.

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.

I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
