Terry Bradshaw ranked Dalton ahead of Cam...

U're not being totally honest...The Panthers offense is not as consistant as the Bengals. Andy has people he can turn to week in and out. Cam has about three vets around him who are very good but it's clear the coaches are pushing him to give the ball more to receivers who aren't very consistant.

Disagree, completely.

Our offense is better. We are scoring more points (not by many, but we are), but in addition to that our running backs are better (and our production shows it), our receivers are overall better (though in time theres could be), and our TEs are better.

To say Cam has no-one on offense he can turn to is ridiculous. Not only do we have a top 10 rushing offense, we have one of the top receivers in the game and two of the better tight ends. While our OC may be forcing him to try to win games instead of leaning on others, our offense is better than the Bengals, period... even with Chud's stupid moves.

The difference is that the Bengals defense and special teams are helping the offense win games. In our case, it feels like the offense has to make up for mistakes the def/st make... but that's not just Cam, because he does have support. But our offense can't do it alone.

Who beats us if we stop the run?

GB?

GB still could, and maybe NO... game changes considerably obviously depending on how the defenses play.

I could see us being 5-2 easy, and maybe 6-1. But I think we'd have lost one. Still, unimportant since we can't magically gain the bengals D/STs =|

No I don't care about that the main point is that Cam is way better than Dalton, Dalton just has a better team all around ATM.

hmm. Yes. And we allowed 300+ to Kevin Kolb in the opener, might have still lost that one.

we did, but Bengals ST doesn't give Peterson that punt return TD imho.

overall I agree with you, tho I think our offense is better than theirs... just wish our defense/special teams was even close to them, blech!

I keep joking that we should just go for every 4th down and kick onside kicks after every score. :cornut:

who fuging cares

you guys are letting people who aren't even Panther fans troll the shiit out of you comparing Dalton to Cam

honestly, who cares about the Bengals? literally nothing they do will impact us or Cam this year. let the dipshiits who hate Cam yet continue to post on our forum waste their time and ignore them.

Because Bradshaw is a surface-level thinker. Dalton is 5-2 (because of EXPERIENCED COACHING & A GOOD DEFENSE) and Cam Newton is 2-6 (because of INEXPERIENCED COACHING & A TERRIBLE DEFENSE).

Bradshaw is incapable of including those other factors in his thinking because it would require more than just REACTING to what he sees on the surface, so he concludes that Dalton "must be" better because his record is "better", instead of understanding that most of the games the Panthers lost is because of bad play-calling in the redzone (Chudzinski) or the defense giving up 30 or more when the Panthers scored enough to win.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
