Our wide receivers have absolutely SUCKED at run blocking on the edges...Smitty and Nannee both. It was holding.

Hit the field goal and we've forgotten that play...it's not like we scored.

The Panthers have the MOST holding penalties in the NFL. This team is not disciplined and that is killing us.

I was at the game, so I could not tell anything about the holding call. But, after seeing the replay, it WAS a holding call.

We hate it because it was against us....but Smitty DID hold.

If I recall correctly, on Peterson's touchdown run, someone blocked Anderson by basically wrapping his arms around him ala Smith's block, it went uncalled. Need a replay to see for sure but the offensive player had his hands wrapped around his back.

If you watch that play again, it honestly looks like 95% of the blocks that happen every play

Smitty held pretty clear. It' a call the refs are going to make most every time.

He really didnt hold more than the other team did on offense. I think thats what pisses people off more. If your going to call every hold call every hold on both sides.

When the dude has his back to you and it seem he pauses due to being grabbed...they're going to call it. Especially if it's someone that looks like they could take an angle on the play. Hate it, but it's the case. Are we unfairly targetted? Maybe, but that doesn't discount the fact it's holding. The defender may have sold it better too. I do not envy NFL refs...they have to watch for so much and things are happening so fast.

It was holding, but it was ticky tacky.. tbh, there is holding on every single play, and you could throw a flag on every single play.. the refs just choose to throw it when they feel like it and it dictates the game. I personally think they should only call holding when they pull the opposing player to the ground.. but, it is what it is.

you want to see ticky tack? Go watch the giants vs dolphins game reffed by ron winter. Offensive PI on Brandon Marshall when he didnt do anything. Changed that game around. Refs suck.

It's not quite that bad. At least NFL players can plead/argue/protest with the refs without getting a "technichal foul"

I want to know how questioning a ref is a foul even technichally.

Yeah, I thought it was just me being bias. But we seem to get an awlful lot of calls against us that seemingly are immediately after a good play.

Yeah, they can call a hold like that on pretty much every play, but most refs let it go in that situation...especially when it's so far away from the play.

BTW, did they call a single hold on the Vikings yesterday?
