Perfect Time For A Bye

Agreed. The worst it hurts, the harder they work. This team has the heart to bounce back hard from this.. and i believe their are some good things(for example the Run D in the first half) that can be emphasized throughout the bye week to help us become a more sound, consistent team.

This team is going to keep improving. We just don't have the experienced depth built up yet. But with the injuries this year we are at least getting some guys some burn.

next year seems like so far away I guess we just keep hoping we start putting it all together so we are ready to roll by then with a fresh start. Shot ourselves in the foot all year getting to 6-10 is going to be a challenge.

So what do the Panthers work on during the bye and what will be the new wrinkle coming out of it?

Maybe having a real running game. Maybe have more guys other than Cam, Smith, and JStew step up and make plays. Learn how to tackle? Maybe kick a 30 yd FG?

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
