Chud on NFL.com's radar for HC positions

look how it turned out for del rio in jax. hes on the hotseat every year. I think Chud needs a few more years to prove himself capable. Newton's celing is higher than most NFL players... he'd be considered a failure if he did not tailor the O to what Newton does best.. to me, hes just doing his job.

Promoted from within is a different deal. Same thing with Leslie Frazier.

I think that we would have to allow Chud to interview for that spot. I know most teams will allow coaches to interview for jobs if it is a promotion.. however I have heard where teams have said no too.

They can't say no. NFL teams MUST allow coordinators to interview for HC jobs.

b/c what Chud does has nothing to do with 2 or the 3 phases that determine wins/losses.

If he can continue to improve and do it consistently over several seasons then maybe. Right now? I don't see it.

Being a good coordinator doesn't make you a good head coach. Good head coaches are about their management style and personal skills. We have no idea how he is in those areas. All we know is that he can direct a passing attack that puts up yards.
