Oh, you said recipes.

Spice measurements are all approximate. I just brown the meat with the vegetables, drain and then throw all of it in a pot and simmer.

1 lb ground meat

1 large sweet onion chopped

1 large bell pepper chopped

1 large stalk celery chopped

2 cloves garlic minced

1 or more fresh minced jalapenos depending on preference

1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes or the equivalent of fresh crushed tomatoes

1 28 oz can tomato sauce

1/2 28 oz can water or stock

1 can black beans

1 can pinto beans

2 cans light kidney beans drained & rinsed

1/4 cup chili powder

1/2 cup cumin

1/2 Tbsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

I think that's all.

Open 2 cans of tomato sauce and 1 can of diced tomatos and add to crock pot. Open and drain 2 cans of red beans. Do a rough squish of the beans from 1 can and add the other can whole. I cube and fry up the andouille sausage then remove it and throw it in my crocky. In the same pot I add and onion, 6 cloves of garlic, 1 green pepper and 2 poblanos. (all diced). Add 2 squirts of honey. add to crockzilla.

Throw in ground beef and fry. Add chili powder and S&P. Open a can of chipotles in adobo sauce. Pour in a little and I mean a little bit of the adobo sauce into the meat (a little goes a long way in adding the smoke flavor. Take the rest of the peppers and rinse the sauce of and give the a rough chop and throw them in.

Finally take about a #1 of okra rinse and cut into small slices. Cook over night and them win.

I also add a small amount of Cinnamon to the beef and occasionally a creole seasoning to the veggies like tony cacheres.

    • Why are most NFL refs senior citizens lol
    • I can't speak to the sample size on the double ACL tears, I could look into it but I am unsure about the quality of data I am able to find. Anecdotally, I don't think that is common for sure.  Well one giant red flag for Dobbins is that of the 3-5 serious injuries he has had in his NFL career, 100% of them have been the same leg. That's not good and it doesn't bode well for his longevity at all. As I have said several hundred times in this forum(in this case it will be in regards to Thomas Davis), outliers are memorable for a reason....because they are outliers. You don't base your decision making on outliers. That's.....stupid. I am also not high on Etienne but he does play special teams and Brooks does not. Currently, I couldn't blame anyone in the FO for choosing a 3rd string RB that can play special teams and has actually played more than 23 career snaps in the NFL in 2+ seasons.  I am not advocating for cutting Brooks but I don't think it's a player I would consider for anything other than a 3rd string role(and likely competing for it, at that) if I am building a roster for 2026. It's not like they are going to get to see him at 100% in 2026.
    • I'm not going to argue against black helmets, but love our silver helmets. No one has anything similar. If you took all the logos off all 32 team's helmets, you could pick out our helmet easy.
