He is learning to run smart. I am loving seeing him slide, you know that poo frustrates the hell out of a D especially after 5+ yards.

He still needs to learn how to slide... but yes, I am momentarily distressed when he does some of that. After one play today he laid on the ground motionless for a few seconds and I freaked a little.

He breaks the D's back on 3rd downs. Leads the NFL in converting on 3rd down when rushing.

I love his play but I get pissed with his leaps, he is a Suh style cheap shot away from a serious injury when he puts his body in that kind of risk

LOL. Same here. My friends and me cussed him for that. Tought he was hurt but then jumped up smiling. Bad boy Cam for scaring us like that.

Only worry about protection in the pocket and Cam often feeling too comfortable

The way the fans and media fall over themselves when they talk about The Golden Calf of Bristol is how I believe the players act with Newton. I think they love his game and would target the person who took a cheap shot at Newton to end his game.

For now, no... I suppose IF he ever gets hurt, it may sink in a little more... The one time I really cringed is when I saw him get flipped at the Vikings game... He straight up landed on his head... and had his helmet literally POP off like 8 feet into the air. Sure he bounced up quickly like nothing phased him, but that shiz looked like it hurt and could have been career ending...
