What kind of co-worker do you hate the most at your job?

I'm a 9-5 office drone, and I was wondering if anybody other than me has wanted to do an Edward Norton Fight Club scene at their office? The people I work with are really starting to get to me, and I'm afraid I might snap one day.

For instance:

The guy that ALWAYS leaves his dirty coffee mug in the sink because he is too important to clean it or put it in the dishwasher himself.

The old cranky kankle lady that wears the super overpowering old lady perfume. I can literally smell her coming from down the hallway.

The woman that gives me a pissy look every single time she walks into the copy room and I'm already on the copier. "How long are you going to be?" As long as I need to be dumb beezy. Walk your single, bitter cat-lady ass to the other side of the building and use the copier over there.

and finally...

The person that constantly gets the copier jammed and just walks away. Seriously? I want to punch you in the face.

I've been to prison before and sometimes I just feel like the guys in there are much more civil and respectful than the people here.

Sorry

/rant.

When I was in that environment as a construction Project Manager I literally got hundreds of emails a day. Most of it CYA stuff from everybody but still a poo load.

I had people walk up to my desk like 3 minutes after they sent an email and say"Did you get my email?

I wanted to respond uh yeah because I just sit here and wait to pounce on anything you send me in between games of Peggle. If you want a quick answer just walk over here and ask me goofball.

I do a lot of work with the Fed and Dod and my resellers are always so damn scared to write anything in the bid responses.

I'll get an email per question asking for my input. They copy everyone and their mother for CYA purposes and say thanks thats should do it...then bam another question. Just send the the damn thing and let me fill it out for you.

This. The serial cc'er. Yeah everyone in the company needs to know you are replacing a screw that the specs didn't call for.

I don't work in an office setting (I'm pretty sure that's not too common among college students) but I do work at a 4 star Italian restaurant during the summers and winter breaks. There's this one waiter who is so nosy that it annoys the poo out of everyone there. He's always trying to get into everyone's personal lives for unknown reasons. He's 18 and was already married until his wife beat him up for watching porn; now he's getting divorced. At 18!!! He doesn't know the menu and always screws up orders, but the owner feels too sorry for him to fire him.

    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
    • Canales has never been part of big YAC offenses in the NFL.  That’s not his tree.  Not in Seattle, Tampa or here.  Every O he has been associated with basically has been bottom half of the league in YAC.  That’s what Bryce needs to happen though  2 very different things….and very much gets into why the middle school QB doesn’t fit
