Actually, what decides the game will be the weather.

If the Panthers start slow and fall behind, then it starts raining or it's already raining, they're done for. The Bucs suck this year, but they still have better players than the Jaguars.

Rigth now Saturday is expected to be sunny and around 58 so it shouldn't be a factor. Plus it wasn't raining against Jacksonville, that was a monsoon of epic proportions for 2 quarters. We didn't have our run game going against Jacksonville like we do now and our defense has tighhtened up quite a bit.

Beside when have we started slow lately? It is finishing rather than starting that seems like the issue. Just my thoughts.....

If Bowers is a factor it is up to the offense to devise a helping scheme to take him out of the game agaiinst Tampa. Just like when teams played us with Peppers. They doubled him or used TEs or RBs to chip him. We need to do the same thing. If Bowers is a big issue, that is on us if we don't make the correct adjustments.

we were lucky last matchup that it didn't kill more drives or create turnovers. I don't see another matchup on the field with greater importance. Bell was dominated by Bowers. In all of Bell's struggles this year Carolina has yet to go out of there way to give him help.

Lot's of story lines that we could talk about, and Bell certainly is one of them. Also, our makeshift secondary and TB's back end is pretty depeleted as well. My concern is, with Freeman back in as QB, he gets his groove back.

Freeman might have the same physical attributes as Cam, but he just wishes he had Cam's SWAG :sifone:

I mentioned after the first game that TB's DL is scary... Bowers looked like a beast, as well as Claiborne. It made me wish we would've had a 2nd rounder to take Bowers b/c I don't see any lingering issues from that "career ending knee injury" he supposedly had.

Da'quan hasn't had a sack since the Carolina game which was his only sack all year. Bell just can't handle him.

Bowers is turning out to be a lot better than I thought he would. Sucks we have to face him twice a year. I wouldn't say that is going to win the game. We should win this just because we are a better team than them this year.

first, i expect that they will come into the game with a little better game plan to deal with him and even if they don't, he won't be more of a factor than he was in the last game.
