DeAngelo Williams 217 yards from a 1,000

Can he get it next week against the Saints?

By the way, let me list the rushing stats for Cam, D-Will, and J-Stew.....

Cam: 674 yards, 5.6 average

DeAngelo: 783 yards, 5.3 average

Jonathan: 682 yards, 5.1 average

Combined, this tri-force has 2139 rushing yards with an average of 5.3 yards per carry. Surely our best rushing group the Panthers organization has ever seen, and eventually will be the best ever in league history.

Even more impressive is the fact that Cam, DeAngelo and Stew are closing in on the same amount of rushing yards as the combined 1,100 yard seasons of 2009 in an offense that hasn't exactly relied on the run...at least not in the 1st half of the season....

I'm thinking the playbook is evolving to bring our rushing strengths into the package along with Cam's growing comfort zone. I honestly believe Chud didn't really know what to do with Double Trouble early on and has developed the play selection mix to sharpen the overall game plan.

Having all three of them on the field at the same time is going to drive defenses crazy. What do you do? Put 8 or 9 in the box? That opens you up to the play action pass. Try to stop it with your front 7? Then you get burned just like the Bucs did. I can't wait for a whole season of this type of excitement. We as fans have suffered long enough. It is time to bring the pain!!!

    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
