Cam Up For Rookie Of The Week Again.

it's not uncommon for a fan of a team to do what these guys did when there's open voting... setting up a simple macro script can take a couple minutes and be left on all night.

It's totally possible that some of the winners of ROTW this year won because of things like that.

Maybe because other players deserved it more.

Everyone on this board needs to take a step back and realize that Rookie of the Week has zero (zilch, nada, nothing) to do with who deserves it. It's a fan voted poll that can be skewed by the size of the market, the game coverage area, the flashiness of the highlight reel, or the angle the guy voting was standing at when he jerked off before voting.

Not only are the people voting not qualified to say who deserves the award for the most part (I refuse to believe that even 1/10th of the population knows enough about it to judge) but they probably wouldn't vote that way if they were.

Both sides of the debating the rookie of the week thing (every time Cam is nominated) look ridiculous.

Agree 100%

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
