So who is ready for double digit wins and playoffs next year?

Rivera coached number 1 defenses in chicago and san diego (with no namers in SD). There is no way ur telling me he cant match or trump a john fox defense with a full offseason to teach, retool, and rejuvenate.

that depends if he wants to step on his opponents throat or play bend/don't break..

if he's more the latter, he'll be allowed to "walk" just the same...

<-------- so tired of coaches playing scared...

People were saying the same thing about the Bucs were they not??? How did that workout?

Valid to a point. I'm not sure the Bucs are the best example; they have a weak staff, do not maximize their talent level (see cap space) and the Glazers may be more interested in Manchester United than the Bucs.

But obviously, this team has to show progress next year to validate their direction and philosophy.

True but people were looking at their quarterback play and the fact that they won a good number of games (all be it against weak teams) and marked them down as a team on the rise.

I'm dying to see what Vegas gives as the O/U line for next year. I'm guessing 8 or 9 wins. This year their line of 4.5 looked easy in the offseason. Then by midseason people were laughing at those that took the bet. Now money is being paid out.

If it open at 7 wins I will be laying down some fat cash. Next year is a 8-8 year at worst, barring injury.

no they weren't.

bucs were looked at as a solid team. nothing spectacular or dynamic or even dominant about them. nothing special.

this offense is looked at as being one of the most dominant in the NFL going forward. it's looked at as being something special and all that's needed is a defense that won't give games away.
