as i said... My whole thought process revolves around AP not playing next year.. if the vikings dont have AP then they are gonna need a replacement way worse than they need defensive players.. even teams with pooty defenses can win games if they can score. stewart may make a nice dent in the d line.. but he doesnt make big plays.. his numbers arent up there.. get rid of him while he still young and has value. what happens when he slows down even more in a couple years and no one wants him?

If that was the case then we'd be like 12-3 right now.

Building this team won't involve separating Double Trouble....That's already been decided with the huge DeAngelo deal, IMHO....Roster gains will come from elsewhere...they are integral parts and insurance wrapped into one...I'd rather they leave them on the roster together.

Exactly. I think keeping Dwill and Stew together is golden. In them we have two outstanding RBs, and working them as a team along with Cam will keep them fresh and greatly enhance their longevity. That means we're set at running back for the foreseeable future, freeing up picks and money to be used elsewhere. Keep them in Panthers uniforms!;)

Stewart was a first round pick and your point is.

why do people think a second round pick couldnt help up when many times the 2nd round picks are better than the 1st... ryan kalil is just one example. no one would give up a first round pick for stewart...
