Chud going to Jacksonville for a 2nd Interview *rumor/unfounded*

Chud probably could care less that he would have less to work with. If he gets some good, quality WRs the Jaguars could be a playoff team easily.

Plus, HC $$$ > OC $$$. And that will be the most deciding factor.

I hope those wide receivers are good at digging out those short hops. Inspector Gadget wouldn't be a good receiver in Jacksonville with those poo QBs

I have faith Gabbert will turn it around next season. And if not, with the rookie pay scale the way it is, we could always get Barkley in the 2013 draft.

Good one. Not even the biggest Jaguar haters would call Clausen an upgrade.

With the exception that Gabbert's had 9 more TDs in 4 more starts, their numbers were actually close.

Clausen completed 52% of his passes for 5.2 yards an attempt and a passer rating of 58 in 2010.

Gabbert completed 50% of his passes for 5.4 yards an attempt and a passer rating of 65 in 2011.

Given that Clausen was the worst quarterback bar none in 2010, it just shows how crappy Gabbert was this past year.

Wish Chud would come out and say that. I know he wants to be a HC, but he has absolutely nothing to work with in Jax. They need WR's in the worst way and a questionable QB. I think it would be beneficial to Chud to stay here and extend his resume and hold out for something better.

You are so right. The media has already annointed Blaine as the "best NFL rookie coming out of the 2011 draft." There is no way they are going to accept themselves being wrong. So guess who will be fired or blamed if Chud takes the job and Blaine doesn't improve?

Needs a QB first and foremost. Gabbert has no chance in Chuds scheme....

gotta be able to stick in the pocket and hit the deep vertical routes......that seems to be the exact opposite of what would fit Gabbert

BTW, NJPanthers was quoted on the jags board lol!

Yeah, he is being touted as a Panther's insider. Where have we heard that before?

NJPanthers insider info is that Chud willl be offered the job tomorrow or Thursday.

Let's see how that works out. It is a reasonable guess, but I think I will have to wait on a source that is a bit more trusted.
