Yea and the Steelers have the #29... I'd like to know how they figure some of these schedules out.

Smart fans know the schedule is (mostly) predetermined for many, many years in advance pending the conference alignments stay the same. That being said how a team did last year is not always a good measure of how it will do this year, the incredibly weak AFC East had the easiest schedule last year and now they are going up against us so that makes our schedule appear tougher on paper but in reality it's not as hard.

The schedules are made out years in advance so teams know which divisions they will play for the next several years. The only difference in the division are the two games which you play due to your divisional finish.

Pittsburgh's schedule is influenced by how poor their division was last year as well as the divisional rotation. The other teams in the division are near the bottom as well.

In the end these are often grossly inaccurate due to the parity in the league and the rise and fall of teams from one year to the next.

Holy ****, man. You don't know how they determine the schedules? I can't believe I just responded to one of your other posts. From this point on you automatically start with -100 in my personal rating of post quality (-50 for being a Bucs fan, -49 for not knowing a basic aspect of pro football, and -1 because rayzor has you on his ignore list, so this must not be the first dumb thing to come from your mouth).

*This concludes my first, and hopefully only, smack on the Huddle*

 If you respond to LBF you will have more, much more, believe me. I'm just glad to see it isn't just me this guy is getting to, I'm starting to think he is an alter ego...

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
