Raaaaandy Moss to the Panthers??

In light of the NFL playoffs this weekend (and the Panthers not in them) I have some very intriguing evidence that the Panthers could be taking a big chance to head in that direction. I assume people are going to hate, but please understand I am merely presenting the evidence - feel free to draw your own conclusions.

Wednesday night I was at Charlotte Douglas Airport waiting on the GF to return from NYC, I got there a bit early to make sure I was on time. While waiting in baggage claim I look up to see Ron Rivera and his wife - Rivera walks out the doors to pick up his car (not before I snapped a quick pic) and left his wife to claim their bags.

My GF meets up with me and while we wait to claim her bags I begin telling her about Ron Rivera - out of the corner of my eye I notice a giant athletic-looking man in a very noticeable one-piece, all black, Michael Jordan jumpsuit and a white beanie.... I said, "Holy poo babe, thats RANDY MOSS." I snapped a quick pic of him as well (although very blurry), but he noticed that I saw him, hence the arms crossed with his hand over his face. He had that standard 'Randy Moss scruffy beard', and the 'Randy Moss dreads' hanging out the back of his hat - the pic I took did this no justice at all.

Like I said, draw your own conclusions from this - it could be a complete coincidence that I saw Ron Rivera and Randy Moss in the airport at the exact same time - but I would like to think it is a little something more than that. Discuss.

I doubt it, solely because Randy Moss proved to be a huge cancer last season. Pairing him with Steve Smith could only end poorly. Plus the front office has a lot of confidence in Gettis and LaFell.

Interesting coincidence though

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
