He shouldn't have done that. He felt betrayed at work and reacted toward his boss. That happens too and sometimes they even fire you for that, which he seems to want.

Maybe he didn't have the bunker mentality he should have (the right coach and team can change that)but the talent is undeniable, plus he didn't kill anybody or get caught with the sticky.

some teams do their best to sign guys at cheap/reasonable contracts and will move onto other options if they feel a players contract demands are unreasonable. doing so allows them to fill out a complete roster with quality players and limited holes

see: pretty much every team in the playoffs

some teams like to massively overpay a few mediocre players and after tieing up their cap space on a handful of guys they are forced to fill the rest of their roster with no-name scrubs for the bare minimum.

see: redskins, raiders, panthers

lol you pretty much just called Jon Beason, Ryan Kalil, and Charles Johnson mediocre

i didn't have a problem with kalil or beasons contracts, as they are actually among the top players at their positions and would have received something similar on the open market. (though it would have been nice to get somewhat of a discount considering they weren't)

just about every other contract though was pretty bad. some were just outright rediculous. our owner/management act like it's a good thing to overpay your own guys. i really don't get it but that spending spree to keep a 2-14 team together is going to handcuff our team for years.

it's really not though

there are ways around the cap. not to mention the cap is going to significantly rise due to the new TV deal.

plus, the one thing that all of these playoff teams have that allows them to let talent walk instead of overpaying is a quarterback. we weren't sure if we had one so we wanted to keep what little talent we had to make the transition as easy as possible.

We got the same guy in LaFell, regarding Colston.

I couldn't disagree more. Colston is bigger, longer and more athletic. He also runs his routes with ease. Lafell is very solid for his stage in career, but he's going to have Gettis breathing down his neck in OTAs.

LaRon Landry, Vincent Jackson, Cortland Finnegan

#sweet Jesus

Finnegan is a question mark, Washington could be after him too. i dont see Vincent Jackson coming to Carolina, if Denver is wise, they get him, i dont see carolina going after a big name WR, maybe a smaller name like Steve Smith, BUT i could see Landry coming here. i dont think he gets a lot of teams chasing him and then Carolina comes in and signs him to a 3 year deal and if they are wise they sign a DT, i would LOVE to see Shaun Rogers here, i dont see much teams chasing him, including Washington.

i do think Washington jumps back in the free agency next year because i see a cornerback, likely Aaron Ross or Finnegan going to Washington, a WR like DeSean Jackson would likely be a Redskin next year and i actually WANT that guy because it takes him away from the Eagles and i also see them chasing Michael Griffin to replace Landry and maybe they get a QB if they fear they cant get RG3.

If you haven't seen Michael Brockers yet you gotta watch this video. SBNation has us picking him 8th.

He started slow this game and became more dominant as the game went on until they just couldn't stop him. At times they had two or three guys on him. Dude is a beast!

I wouldn't mind him at all. We haven't had his type of talent at DT since Kris Jenkins. Wow!

That clip is old and I think you might have commented on the wrong thread.

And posting video to hype a prospect is lame,

See what I did there?
