Cams pro bowl

You're assuming Cam has the acumen of Brees and Rodgers. So what do you base this assumption on? Cam's Wonderlic score?

I don't know or care what Cam's wonderlic is. His play as a rookie has shown me his football acumen is very high.

Rothlisberger and Dan Marino are both some dumb motherfugers but still good quarterbacks, so I think we can safely assume the "wonderlic" is useless.

Cam shattered the record book w/ no offseason/camp. So yeah, you are pretty much talking out of your ass. You don't do that just b/c you got a arm and legs.

Yes and your "Pro" QB looked liked an amateur. The guy is not reading coverages. He's just throwing the ball up and praying for the best.

What irks me is when people talk about him as if he's playing the game like a pro. I've watched the tape. Most of his plays are lucky chucks that gets big yardage via RAC. That's not NFL QBing. How many timing routes? Can Cam hit guys in stride? Is he faking out DBs? Checkers...real pro QBs play chess out there.

You know, I've always felt that there are two types of fans. The ones who know their QB is good and don't feel the need to go to other folks site and promote him by putting down the other team's rookie QB and then there is YOUR TYPE.HMMMMMMM....:rolleyes:

Those saying not to read into anything about cam in the probowl are a little off base, imo. Cams footwotk was off and he was sailing balls and was very inaccurate. Doesnt matter if its thw probowl. He looked bad and his throwing mechanics were poor.

We've seen him in the regular season, and we've seen him in the pro bowl

He looked different in the pro bowl than he did in the regular season, so which matters and which doesn't?

Wow...U are such a genius. Did u figure that one out all by urself?

Please don't stop observing Cam's mechanics. Even while he takes the Panthers to the Play-offs and then SB. Even when he goes into retirement years later. Don't stop questioning his intelligence by always questioning what he should have done during the game. Don't stop saying he shouldn't have been picked number one. Don't stop saying he'll never be as good as whomever..No...keep trying to turn everything this kid does, regardless of it's relevance, into some reason to be "concerned" about him.

What would some of you do if you didn't have the media spoonfeeding you information, so you can sound like you know what the heck ur talking about..

He's right...It was like watching two different games. First half, tag football. Second half, one team played like their checks anf egos were on the line and the other was still playing tag football. Did any of the NFC denfense even touch Andy Dalton? No wonder everyone in the media was saying he was so "composed in the pocket." Heck, I would be to if I knew no one was going to tackly my ass to the ground.

Football is an agressive sport. You're either all pumped up for it or not. That is the problem with the Pro-Bowl.

Cam has to have a mental armory by now.

and yet the great ones keep grinding and finding more people to prove wrong. I have no doubt in my mind Cam's expectations are tormenting him by that performance and how people have responded....

1 minute ago - by Dan McLellan - Rivers: Onside kicks inspired AFC to play tough defense

QB Philip Rivers said Wade Phillips, the defensive coordinator for the AFC in the Pro Bowl, took the gloves off after the NFC kicked and recovered two onside kicks. “They certainly had Wade and our defensive guys a little fired up,” Rivers said. “Our defensive side certainly cranked it up during the second half.” All Chargers RapidReports

^ It shouldn't. Just threw a bunch of guys together and said go play. It was bad yes... but it also was meaningless

There was no game planning, no run game, his defense didn't play hard. It literally meant nothing

It doesn't matter if it logically shouldn't; the great ones use any little thing, real or imagined, for an edge.
