you, me, life in general exists b/c of reproduction. Feeling good does go hand in hand.....but it's primary purpose is reproduction.

Sex drives, ability, frequency all diminish w/ age. Not a coincidence. We are wired and made to reproduce at certain ages.

it's primary purpose evolutionarily is reproduction. It's primary purpose for the HIGH majority of those involved in the act is pleasure. It's supposed to be that way. Our society is not built to deal with our evolutionary structure.

Sex drives, ability and frequency peak at around 16... What are we supposed to do with that? Expect 16 year olds to act like adults? lock them in basements? It's all been tried and the results are ALWAYS detrimental to society at large. good luck with that war. until you make the incentive NOT to have sex as physiologically strong as the incentive to have sex you cannot solve this problem. Even "responsibility" isn't a cure-all...Condoms have a 2% failure rate. If 50 kids are having sex twice a week... you do the math.

It was your opening paragraph.......I did leave out more education being needed from my quote.

I just didn't get the context of "people with first hand experience needed to make the decision". Still don't.

I don't see that quote in my post.

the point is that the majority of people making the decisions and/or influencing the decision makers on this topic can't fully comprehend the situation thus can't make an informed decision. In the absence of being able to experience it first hand people need to spend more time educating themselves before forming an opinion.

This is true on many topics too. It's like me telling you how to do your job better, would you think I have the insight to do that?

complex issue, complex answer. Not interested in arguing zygotes, blastocysts, etc.

If people had more of a respect for what sex is, half of the problem would probably be solved anyway.

Get the government completely out of this issue.

Don't publicly fund anything that will lead to abortion, and don't stop private enterprise from earning money by performing them.
