A Possible Jake Delhomme Situation This Season... Pt.Two

Jake throws for 6000 yards and 60 Tds 0 Ints, has the best Playoff run any QB ever had. Throws for 7 Tds in the Superbowl and then ascends into heaven on Rays of shafted light...

Could happen.

I use to smoke stuff that would do that to you. I wonder what that good weed cost today?

why don't you try something a bit more realistic.....

5999 yards 59 TDs 1 INT and then 6 TDs in the superbowl.

i'm just trying to keep you grounded in reality here.

Well, if he comes back from heaven we sign him to a 50 year 1 Billion dollar contract. I know you guys will be screaming "BUT THE CAP DE PEPPORS BE EATIN" but dont worry we can cut our Oline and use those practice dummys.
that sent coffee through my nose. very painful.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
