Middle school teacher accused of being a porn actress!

http://now.msn.com/now/0307-teacher-accused-porn.aspx

Several things come to my mind.

1) Where was she when I was in school? Until I got to high school, all my teachers were 80 years old!

2) The kids rattered her out? Jr. High kids are watching porn? I was in high school before I saw my first porn movie.

3) I know that Char/Meck schools have a "Moral clause" in their teacher's contracts. I guess that's because they are in LA and we are in the Bible Belt.

4) These come to mind!

So they shouldn't be focusing on how and why the kids were looking at porn but instead focus on the teacher who allegedly looks like someone from a porno. The American School Systems. Seems Legit.

Assuming most of the kids looking at the porn were teenage boys, I think the "why they were looking at it" is fairly easy to answer. They were looking at it because they are teenage boys. :)

Maybe how they got ahold of it is a more relevant question.

I dont see the problem with it, and she should sue the school board for putting her on Administrative leave. She didnt break any laws.

I can see why the children's parents may have some qualms with their seventh grader's ability to go home and view their teacher naked and having sex.

Well if the parents don't know how to regulate what their kid is able to look at online, then it's their own damn fault.

If she used to be a porn star, she's a teacher now. People can get second chances, and ill advised kids aren't to blame if they find out what she used to do for a career. The parents are.

I mean these kids are like 11-14. It's not like the hormones are completely raging at this point. If they find it, it's because they are bored, have the ability, and think it's funny. Take out the ability, and everything else is moot.

Tiffany Six

A teacher in California has been suspended after it was revealed that she may also be a porn actress.

The Daily Mail reports that word has gotten around the Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard that 31-year-old science teacher Stacie Halas is also "Tiffany Six," the star of such online offerings as "Tiffany Six Shows Her Amazing Hot Legs At Casting."

Apparently an office worker at the school somehow stumbled onto one of the videos and notified the superintendent. Halas was immediately pulled from class and placed on administrative leave while her superiors investigate.

"Maybe it's not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it's a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned," said Oxnard School District Superintendent Jeff Chancer.

I grew up in the next town and had some buddies go to haydock in our younger days.

Funny thing, the joke was back then that if you were in JR High and wanted sex, Haydock was the place to go. The kids were very sexual.

Looks like I should have been hitting on the teachers.....

    • Most EVs are in the 90+ e-MPG meaning some measurement house somewhere compares the EV to a similar ICE model and works out how much is costs to charge (on average) versus fill up as a point of comparison. Talking long term, in the hundreds of thousands of miles?  No clue.  Some early signs are that EV batteries maintain 80% charge over 400k miles.  So there's that.   The challenge and charm of an ICE vehicle is being able to park it under a tree, get your jack stands out and tinker with your engine.  There's just not that same level of complexity in an EV.  I saw someone estimate there are 200 or so moving parts in an EV, and 2000 in an ICE vehicle.  I'm not a part counter so I can't really speak to that. I think that the EV is more the future than any type of combustion engine.  Those will still be around in specific purposes, but for most people - an EV will be the superior option in terms of efficiency.  I say that as someone who loves stupid horsepower numbers out of turbo 4 bangers and inline 6s...  I am one of those tinkers when I can be. A bigger issue for EVs is going to be the ownership versus lease.  Right now, there are INSANE leases on EVs, which is great, but what do you have at the end of that lease?  Nada, maybe some equity if you're lucky.  Where as I'm almost done paying for my car, and plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (or my son wrecks it when he starts to drive).  Will EV makers do the smartphone thing and build in planned obsolesce?  Stop updating software?  I love the tech in EVs, and I think getting more cars and trucks off the road is a good thing.  But I am still just a little concerned.  Capitalism has gotten far too extractive.
