Anytime there's any negative talk about The Golden Calf of Bristol, Skip feels the need to bring up Cam, as if they were in the same draft class or something.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Skip thinks the two are comparable.

Which is even more stupid.

It really is bizarre. There's literally NO ONE in this area even having this discussion, he can't possibly think that the majority of fans in this area would rather have Peyton than Cam.

I think ESPN gets a lot of undue criticism sometimes but crap like this just makes them look like amateur hour. It's like a conversation I'd expect Adam Gold and Joe Ovies to have, and they're retarded.

      I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).

      If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
