Bucs sign CB Eric Wright

I think Tampa will take Claiborne, even after this signing.

disagree. RB is now the biggest need and for a run first HC like schiano and a team that has no real RBs (blount is a lazy 2 down joke of an RB) richardson will be too hard to pass up.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too.

Richardson will be gone at #4. They'd have to pick between Blackmon and Claiborne and I see CB as a bigger need at that point. Especially considering that Talib will most likely be in jail and Barber is ancient. Wright is a good sign, but he's not THAT good.

Browns will not take Tannehill at #4. No way.

why would they not take tannehill at 4?

that's the biggest need for them and he's going to be good. if you don't have a franchise QB you trust then job #1 is to get one, even if you have to reach for it.

much more likely that tannehill will be taken by the browns. they'll take care of RB (if it's really a need) with a later pick.

tannehill is going to help a lot more than richardson.

Even after signing Wright the Bucs have a lackluster CB group. Barber might retire and Talib will probably be suspended. Even if they both come back there is no one after Talib/Wright/Barber. It's still extremely unlikely that Claiborne gets past #5, but I suppose it is always good for you guys to have dreams ;).

If they're smart, they will pass on Tannehill. Look what happened to teams last year who got QB happy in the draft (Jags and Vikings). People are so desperate for QBs they will convince themselves that certain QBs are worth a top 10 pick.

The Browns need to draft talent around McCoy (Richardson at #4 and a WR at #22) and give him another chance with decent players around him. If it doesn't work out, next year's draft is shaping up to be loaded with QBs.

I hope we get Claiborne, he is my number 1 option for us. I just don't think we will get him.

4. Richardson

5. Claiborne

6. Blackmon

Are you sure you're a Bucs fan? Ronde and the Bucs have already worked something out for him to return this season.

I seriously doubt the Bucs pass up on the opportunity to get a RB like Trent Richardson, especially under a Fox-ballesque coach like Schiano.

I'm sure Claiborne is hoping against hope that the Bucs pass him up, so he will have a chance to play with a real team in the Panthers.:driving:

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
