According to 43-year-old cheerleader Laura Vikmanis, the squad is divided by those who are real and those who are fake.

She's not talking about personalities.

"The most prominent division on the Ben-Gals is not between the young girls and the older girls but between the Real Boobs and the Fake Boobs," she told the Cincinnati Enquirer while promoting her new memoirs on becoming the oldest cheerleader in the NFL. "This is despite the fact that at any given time, a third of the Real Boobs are considering implants."

That reads like an SAT question. "If half of the 36 Ben-Gals have Fake Boobs and one-third of Ben-Gals with Real Boobs (why is this capitalized?) are considering implants, how many losing seasons are the Bengals currently suffering through?"

If I can touch them...they are real!

I don't think a lot of girls know what they're doing when they get implants.. Sigh. Not to diss anyone that's serious about cheerleading, but why don't they just pick all the hottest girls at tryouts if looking good was that much of an importance. No one pays attention to cheerleader routines anyway.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
