Eagles Are Willing To Trade Samuel For A 5Th Or A 6Th

If he is willing to restructure his contract and take a lower salary. Then I would be on board with the trade. But if the contract stays the same. I doubt this deal will get done. I just don't see it happening to be honest. I wheather see us use that money towards resigning J Stewart instead and just draft a CB or allow Hogan to start and get better.

I disagree. Getting Samuel would be nice, but it will prolong the event of finding an actual replacement for that #2 spot for Gamble. Pretty soon we'll have to look for that #1 once Gamble hangs up his gear.

This year the team feels like its playoffs or bust.

it only makes sense to decide on this after the first few rounds of the draft when we see what we've already drafted. if we hit the fourth round and we've made a couple surprise BPAs that leave us with CB unaddressed i wouldn't be terribly surprised to see some kind of trade with samuels packaged in.

He ıs too old, on the downslope... (sorry for my turkısh keyboard, I am ın Holıdays to Istanbul)

CBs are still in there prime in there early 30s. Nnamdi, Champ, Woodson, etc.

Asante isn't young....but he isn't on the downslope yet. QBs can't throw on him.

Yes but 10 mıllıons per year for 2 years ıs expensıve for Samuel, I prefer take a young CB wıth our 5th round lıke Josh Norman for example.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
