Kasay is responsible for one of my worst memories in sports (SB kickoff), but at the same time he also won us a lot of games. He obviously has a passion for the game, so I say keep on kicking. That said, it sucks that it has to be on the Saints who are clearly our most hated rivals.

Agreed...Kasay was great for our franchise. I hope the panthers do the right thing when he decides to call it a career and let him retire a panther.

I agreed with cutting ties with him though but not because of his field goal accuracy but because of his deficiencies in kickoffs. I'll never forget that Vikings game a few years back where we were on the 49 yard line right before half time and Fox decided to try a hail mary instead of trying for the field goal. From that point on I was ready for us to move on.

Obviously Mare bombed last season, but I'm hopeful one of our new guys can push him to be better (or we bring in a new kicker).
