Edwards does not have a pro arm.

He doesn't get a chance.

Edwards will never get a shot at QB, unless it's with another team, but it's not because of his arm strength. Arm strength was never a knock on him, the only reason he wasn't more highly regarded as a QB prospect out of App State was because of his size.

Tutu, Manno, and Adams will all be cut before AE. You guys are just letting your hate for AE's pick blind your better judgement. None of those receivers have seen the field for us either. You will always have players that don't see the field, it's called reserve depth. AE will get his shot as the 4th WR on the depth chart, at least, this year and if he doesn't do anything he's gone, but he'll be there this year.

There have been QBs his size drafted.

He was not drafted as a QB because he is not nfl QB material. If he can't even hack it as a punt returner, cut him and save the roster space.

He would have been drafted as a QB by quite a few teams that year. The patriots and the eagles were two teams specifically who worked him out as QB and expressed interest in drafting him as such. He would have been drafted as a QB is Hurney hadn't poo the bed and traded up to get him as a WR conversion.

      This is one of my key concerns lost in the sauce that is the neverending conversation about him evading pressure and the OL. Eventually any QB is going to have to step up into the pocket and show the defense they can still beat them even if they get through. We have a limited QB who cannot consistently do this and as such we are relegated to going back and forth about how successful he was at evading pressure but we have little else to write home about. Tyler Shough stepped up into the pocket and made plays despite being pressured and sacked. He's played in about 35 less games than Bryce Young. That is a problem. And isn't just going to go away. The Bucs are going to do the same thing after watching the film.

      Thanks for illustrating my point.  No one in the last several pages of this discussion is suggesting we should hang on to him, but anytime someone says anything less than "take him out back and shoot him" you act like they are. That's either you not understanding what you're reading or just being a nimrod because you can't keep up. (I would have said 'or just sh-tposting' but you're way too emotional on this topic for that) Either way, the result is the same 😆
