Well, it depends. QBs are actually the hardest position to evaluate. So, who knows if Luck will even be any good?

King is implying the location of where the kid was drafted made it the best pick. Same kid could of gone where projected in the late first and a team simpy gets a guy where he was projected.

I think he is talking best in terms of overall value. You know, it is possible that Luck and RG3 are busts. High risk, high reward.

But at 40 he feels we got an elite OG , but if he is a bust, not as nearly a big of a deal. Low risk, high reward. .

It's not comparing the two players, it's evaluating the player, the place where he was selected, and the need it addresses.

I believe you are confusing best pick with best player. Were he was drafted in the second round makes it a better pick for value.
