9-7 At Worst

We were historically bad against Philadelphia because John Fox didn't understand basic concepts such as 'pass-first offenses' or 'defenses that blitzed the Quarterback'

It wasn't just some magical voo-doo incantantion. We're a completely different team now.

philly isn't nearly as good a team as they were during fox's tenure.

Good write up by OP....a little homerish, but does keep it in perspective. I think we are the favorites to win the division, if our D# and ST improve. But with Tampa getting better players, ATL always good in reg. season, and Saints have I didnt know Brees, the division is always up for grabs.

I, right now, can see 9-7 to 13-3......depending on injuries, breaks in games, and how cam progresses.....just my $.02

Not trying to troll but it seems most here are chalking up a sweep over the Bucs when their offense is geared to attack the Panther defensive weakness to a T. They have revamped their offensive line and i'm sure they will pound the ball with Blunt and Martin against a very weak Panther front four...Not to mention 6'5 V. Jackson on 5'8 Cap' Munnerlyn.

    • I said the conservative play calling was because Canales doesn't think we can win shootouts. Yes, I did say part of that was because of the young, inexperienced receivers and that the OL is better suited for run blocking. I should have also included Young as part of the reason as well but I was responding to the post concerning "young receivers" and Thielens' absence. I am not so enamored with Young that I think all his problems are simply because of the receivers. I do think they overpaid for him and he has not lived up to the cost. He has had his struggles, as does pretty much every rookie qb thrown into a bad situation. But I have seen enough good things to have hope that he continues to get better. The OP is just pointing out how his performance late in the games when the game is on the line is one of those good things.
    • I think it goes both ways  It could be they are used to pocket passers, not someone who constantly has to create throwing zones for himself with pocket movement  point being, whether it is Young or the receivers or the sun or the moon or the wind, can’t win in the nfl without the threat of a downfield attack
