Terrell Suggs Tears Achilles Tendon

Recommended Posts

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles tendon playing basketball, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Thursday.

Suggs was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year after last season, in which had 70 tackles, including 14 sacks, and was a threat all over the field from his hybrid linebacker-end position. He also forced seven fumbles and had two interceptions.

Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome told ESPN's Josina Anderson that the team found out about Suggs' injury earlier this week.

"We found out about it on Monday. He (Suggs) said he would be visiting with a specialist early next week," Newsome told ESPN.

That's gotta hurt...wonder how the Ravens' D will do this season without their best pass-rushing threat.

edit: BLAH, BRAIN FART - could a mod change the title to Terrell Suggs? lol

    • Hey y’all! As the off-season winds down. I want to say a huge thank you to @Icege for all the updates, news, and some nice write ups. A lot of us old timers have noted that the huddle ain’t what it used to be this time of year. And Icege has been an oasis in this desert of info this off-season. Hope y’all join me in saying “thank you!” For keeping us engaged and doing a fan’s part to keep other fans connected to the teams they love   THANKS ICEGE!!
    • Teddy simply said water was wet…..and the huddle all sided with Matt Rhule for firing him over outing that we were a dysfunctional poo show.
