P Nick Harris Signed

I think Butler would've poo all over these guys. Nortman's college average was 42.1. Harris was 42.7 last season. Harris was tied for 26th in the league for punt average. Jason Baker was also 42.7. I think since we let go of Baker because he wasn't good enough then we should've upgraded.

We have had a private workout with Nortman and scouted him at the senior bowl, and liked what we saw.

"Early practice thoughts from #SeniorBowl : Wisc punter Brad Nortman just crushing every kick.

- Brad Nortman (P/Wisconsin) was kicking moon shots all afternoon. His punts were consistently flying 55-to-60 yards with great hang time.

I guess he's a practice warrior. Gameday is different. His highest average in college was 42.7. Which like I mentioned above, was good for 26th in the league last year.

Often times the conditions he was punting in weren't good.

Not every punt is from deep in your own territory. You can't just look at average since they aren't always trying to punt it as far as they can.

Also if you can place the punt in a certain spot there in lies an advantage.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
