Brake Checking A Cop...

Nice. Hopefully he got what he deserved, a ticket.

Really wish people would learn to stay in the right lane unless they are passing. It is a law that is taken seriously in Germany and it helps improve the flow of traffic and efficient use of the highway.

This guy is typical of those that camp out in the left lane and have a "don't give a damn about the rest of society" attitude.

Agreed. BUT cops do this poo a lot. Even on single lane highways. Particularly later in the evening. Pisses me off when they do it to. I think they try to get you nervous and looking at them in the rear view so you can cross the yellow line and get pulled over.

Me and the wife were driving down 24/27 and had just passed into meck county when a slick top crown vic decided to ride my ass. I was in the left lane and after about 1 minute of it I had enough. I hit the brakes hard and it pissed him off. He blue lighted me. Didn't give me a ticket, just a lecture to not brake check cops.

Why did you not move over to the right lane? There are signs everywhere that say "Slower Traffic Keep Right".

fug, I meant to say the right lane. Don't know why I said left. I'm watching msnbc this am so maybe that's why.

Riding in the left lane pisses me off... people do that poo here all the time. Totally oblivious to other drivers... drive as slow as you want... in the right hand lane asshole.

Seriously!

A page from the NC Drivers Handbook detailing REGULATORY signs. The ones that have the LAWS on them.

Its not an "If you feel like it" sign...

I know it's a damn law but most people flat out ignore it... I've seen people riding on I-40 or 74/76 ride for literally 100 miles in the left lane and refuse to move over even when they are holding up traffic. Cops should write tickets for it... If you're in front of me in the left lane I'll flash my lights at you to get over... and give you the bird once I go by. :)

    • The difference is about how much player input is allowed and encouraged in the decision making process. Top down teams tend to dictate to players how everything is handled. Disagreements are handled by the coach and players are expected to do what they are told regardless of what they think or feel.  Players are perceived as commodities to be used until we find better. In player led teams player input is encouraged and valued. Players and especially leaders are expected to settle their own disagreements and be accountable to the team but mostly to each other. Players are family to be appreciated and supported in their growth. Is the reality of football the same in both? Yeah there are limited positions, football is a business and winning is the bottom line. Coaches get final say and run the program because that is their job. But in player led teams they feel valued, appreciated, part of a larger whole. Most people who have worked at multiple jobs know exactly what I am talking about. When players try to run the show and don't value  coach input that isn't a player led team, that is a circus which we surely are familiar with in our past.
    • For our pics and trades tonight and tmrw.  Remember, Aho was a 2nd rounder and Slavin was a 4th rounder.
    • Seems to be the consensus from the talking heads. I really wish we had double dipped at center in the 2nd round. Sion will never play in the league.
