Here is my dream Offseason for our Bobcats.

Let me know your opinion. Is this realistic will this make our team better.

1. Trade the 2nd pick to the Blazer's for their 6th and 11th pick.

2. Pick Drummond with the 6th pick.

3. Trade the 11th pick to the Timberwolves for Michael Beasley and the 18th pick.

4. Draft Terrence Ross SF Washington with the 18th pick.

5. Draft Scott Machado PG Iona with the 31st pick

6. Give DJ a 1 or 2 year deal.

7. Sign FA PF like (Antawn Jamison,Chris Wilcox, or Ivan Johnson)

PG's DJ, Kemba , Machado

SG, Hendo, Williams, Ross

SF Beasley, Maggete, Brown, Ross

PF Bismack, FA signee, White

C Drummond, Mullens

I dont mind trading down to get the 6 and 11, but Portland only does that if they really like someone there. I also dont think Drummond falls out of the top 5- he is the kind of guy who will absolutely dominate the pre-draft workouts and some team will take a chance on him. Getting a shooter like Terrence Ross would be a great pick at 18, and I wouldnt mind taking a chance on Beasley either.

just one problem with that, portland aint giving up a 6th and 11th to move up 5 spots when they can get a similar caliber player staying at 6

I actually think there is a drop off from 5 to 6. If Davis, MKG, Robinson, Beal, and Drummond go top 5 then you are left choosing between Barnes, Sullinger, and maybe Jeremy Lamb.

My dream.... Hornets GM doesn't see a future-leader in Davis... trade #1 pick and a 2nd round pick to B**cats for our #2 pick and next year's 1st

B**cats draft Davis then change their name to Hornets after New Orleans changes name to the Brass or some bullsh¡t

Someone already had this idea on here, but.....draft MKG and sign Roy Hibbert. I'd be happy.

I would love for this to happen, but I doubt it does unless we throw big money at Hibbert. I think Hibbert is a great center. Always liked him.

    • That was always the fear, expectation, concern, etc, I had.  Someone showed a still shot from his pick last game and said it showed that the defender closed 3 yards on that ball in the last portion of its flight. I forget the number. 10 yards I think it said but that sounds extreme.  When guys are open by a step, any slowing down to wait for the ball lets the defender back into the play. That sort of stuff makes the margins so small… these NFL CBs are not slow.   It is a league that highly values foot speed; the 40 times and drill times are scrutinized down to the hundredth of a second when evaluating these players on both sides of the passing game. Receivers and defenders both.   My thing with his arm strength (or anyone’s) was always “why do you want to do that? Plus pay extra picks to put yourself in that situation?”. Asking for trouble.     I wish there was a way to measure velocity on the back half of a throw compared to when it left the hand. Or really get accurate reading of the flight time of a ball from the near hash to the sideline, 10 yards down the field. Because teams could use that info. I have always seen this as being a disadvantage with Bryce but it is beyond my ability to quantify it.   I think it would show what that arm strength is really about, a lot more than just measuring how much air can you put under it so it will fly as far as possible.
    • Who didn't see that coming....
    • Its a detriment if he can't play...as we are seeing.
