lol every year theres this "NEW AND EXITING FEATURE", but its still the same old poo

<_< Umm no. There has already been clicks of gameplay the other day. This ain't any gimmick. There will be full game footage of Madden13 coming sometime late this evening from E3 in LA. They have totally taken out the old engine and installed a new one. They have been working on this new physics engine for a few years now behind closed doors. I guess you want believe it until you see video proof of it in action. I will put up some video later on this evening once some gets posted. ;)

Remains to be seen. Could be all hype ...., again....

I don't really think so. I've seen a few clips of gameplay the other day already. Looks pretty good. Lot's more gameplay footage coming in the next few days from people I know who is at E3 in LA right now. I will post the links sometime later on this evening once they upload the videos of gameplay. Just keep this thread open for me. I will post the video and allow people to form their own opinion on the Real Time Physics Engine..

Worst thing the NFL did for video games is give EA exclusive license.

I agree with you there. But nothing can be done about it now. But at least EA is trying to do something now with Madden13 by putting in a whole new gameplay engine into it this year to get a fresh new look and feel. Well it be bug and glitch free? No it want. No video ever is. But this is a start and it will give Madden a reboot and regain some of it's hardcore fans. I for one been playing madden for 20+ years now. Been through bad years and goods years. This will be a great year. But again I agree that the NFL should not have given EA sole rights to the NFL. It was the wrong thing to do. But at least EA is trying to make things better now. Starting with Madden13.

No thanks. I'll gamefly it. No Madden is worth $60. This new 'physics' garbage will be half-arsed. probably just for tackles and not the entire gameplay. Suction blocks, jetpack defenders, and super linebackers will all be back and doing the same thing they've been doing since Madden on PS2.

The vids I saw of the new Infinity engine did look pretty awesome. It really seems like EA got it right with this aspect. But like others have alluded to, until you actually get your hands on it don't get too excited for a "brand new" Madden.

That being said, I'm gonna get Madden 13 the day it comes out regardless because I can't wait to whoop fools with Cam and Co. online.

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
