IRVING, Texas (AP) -- An air-supported practice bubble that covers a practice at the Dallas Cowboys' facility collapsed during a strong thunderstorm on Saturday.

At least four members of the team's support staff are being taken to the hospital, a Cowboys spokesman told the Dallas Morning News. All players and coaches are believed to be safe.

Emergency medical technicians were seen entering portions of the bubble that were still standing.

Irving fire-rescue officials ordered all reporters and team personnel away from the immediate area.

just got word from someone i know in the dallas area that he didn't know about any tornadoes that came through but said it had been a constant heavy downpour for about an hour that dropped a lot of rain.

So the same as the cowboys seson...gets overblown and deflates in the end!!!

Glad no one was seriously hurt...Wonder if Jerry could've afforded a better one??

it sounds like it is a temporary structure.

i do wonder if this was an omen about this coming season for them but how would you know? roof seems to collapse on the every year once the pressure is put on them.

    • Maybe the 3rd,Gano had made 63 and 58(or 59).
    • Not really sure I’d say we had “constant success” on the ground either. Take away Dalton’s kneel down and Bryce’s scrambles and we had 103 yards on 27 carries. Not garbage, but not constant success to where it wouldn’t have been reasonable to let your QB try and gain some confidence by throwing it a bit more, or even just further down the field. I’m happy we won, but just frustrated in that we somehow didn’t even look that great in a 30-0 win because it was largely due to the Falcons ineptitude and bad mistakes. We only had 2 drives all game of over 30 yards, the 61 yard opening TD drive and a 48 yard drive for a FG.  So it’s not like our offense was some well oiled machine that couldn’t have been trying to throw and push it downfield more.
    • BY is Pathetic. With a good QB and better middle linebackers,  we could be a playoff bound team.
