My sweet fiance got into wreck and got a ticket for reckless driving

Apparently she was going to work and some dude was going 10 miles bellow speed limit so she decided to pass him, the extra line was finishing in like 300ft so she floored it but the dude floored it as well not to let her in... The line was finishing and she could not slow down on time so she hit side railing at like 60mph, totaling her car and side swiping the dudes car. Cop gave her a ticket for reckless driving on top of that...

She's getting a lawyer to try to wave reckless driving ticket. What should I expect? It's her first accident in 3 years lol. She totaled another car just over 3 years ago... also her fault.

Brad Icard, in charlotte, hes the man and will get it dropped for a reasonable price. Used him for several speeding tickets, referred many friends and he gets the job done on any traffic citation. Before I found him I used Michael Greene who is a partner of the famed George Laughrun but he got too pricey for me, but both great lawyers who can/will get it dropped.

What's with people who do this? I mean really.

No idea, I'm just glad she's ok... Extremely bruised but ok. She was late for work and dude was in no apparent hurry so she decided to pass him. He decided to speed up so she would hit rail head on. We were supposed to get married in 8 months but now we postpone our wedding until 2014 because we need to buy a new car and her insurance will probably double.

She should learn to be more patient in life. Tickets and insurance hikes aren't worth the trouble. I think tickets in general are absurd, but as long as they're around it's best to drive like an old lady.

You might feel entitled to floor it and pass people or to tailgate slow drivers but you'll only have yourself to blame when it ends poorly.

Tailgating is the one thing in life I truly hate. Ride my trucks tailgate & you'll find yourself staring down the barrel of a Colt 1911 .45

Glad shes ok -

Best gift you could give her for your wedding would be driving lessons given by a professional. She doesnt appear to use good judgement - if it was me and some person floored it when I tried to get around them I'd back off - too many cases of nut cases and road rage end badly - sorry - proving youre the biggest bad ass behind the wheel isnt worth dying over.

Yeah, because gun violence is the perfect way to solve traffic problems.

*shakes head*

Do you own any Tapout or Ed Hardy branded clothing? If not, you should look into it.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
