Whom ever is Lame duck, please change your team name to your username in the huddle please.

cultclassiccat, I'm not sure yet. I was thinking of letting it being random, either snake or linear.

or we could customize it via another site that randomizes the teams draft order.

Personally I'd rather just let NFL.com randomize it 30 minutes before the draft takes place. The other way requires a lot of work by my part..LOL

I've done both, Snake and Linear drafts.

Been at the bottom of both and I have to say they were both kinda bad.

We could have a vote about it if you'd guys like, We won't have the draft yet. So once everyone registered at the site we can go from there.

I believe both styles require you to be a drafting genius, especially snake. When you have the 16th pick then the 17th, that kind of eases things over but you're going to be screwed come your next turn. If you have the 1st, you get the pick of the litter but have to wait a long time for your next pick.

Linear is just like it's name, very linear.

I'll post a poll and all of you vote on it.

Hey man unfortunately I don't think you made it in time. We had like 20 people wanting in and when we sent out the invites it was kinda first come first serve. I'll see what I can do though, and keep you at the top of the alternates list.

Could we possibly get a second league started? I was wanting to join, and my room mate is a die hard panthers fan too who was trying to play. If someone who was trying to play and didn't get in is interested, start a new thread and see if we can get enough people to do a second one. I can't since i'm under 100 posts. Iv'e been playing in one league with some friends the past few years and won the whole thing last year, but I want to try doing 2 teams this year.

There will be several people in the next few weeks starting Leagues soon and most leagues dont draft until after the 3rd preseason game so you will have no problems getting on.

      I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).

      It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
