It was pretty good, but they really went over the top to get people hating Jeff Daniel's character. Following the college "speech," it wasn't difficult to hate him after 5 minutes, but they kept pushing the issue for about another 30....

.... we get it, he's an a**hole, now can we move on and try to learn something about the other characters while continuing to drive the plot line? or will this be a new story every week?

Good 1st ep. Wasn't going to watch it but gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised.

The college scene was done fantasticly well and was the perfect way to make ppl like myself, who were pessimistic about watching it, to do so.

Interesting that they chose Katrina as the opening storyline and I'm wondering if this will be the main news story or if there will be others this season.

Given the foreshadowing, it seems that the show will have inhouse romance/tension between the main characters for better or worse, well see.

Anyways, this show is a bit different from what I usually watch, but I'm thoroughly looking forward to the rest of the season.
