Also, and it happens every year but someone will come out of the blue and have a great season. Someone will fall on their face. Cinci surprised everyone by making the playoffs and the Eagles surprised many (not me) by finishing 3rd in the East.

Call me crazy but i have a feeling Seattle will be the surprise team on the up and Pittsburgh on the down. Maybe just for this year.

I think the Hawks will win the WEST and the 49ers will come back down from the mountain....

NFC North

NFC South

NFC East

The AFC is predictable. Especially the North and East. AFC south is the weakest and the west...well it's the west. Pats, Ravens, Steelers are always the top dogs. The AFC south will be won by the Texans now that Peyton is gone. The west is mediocre, even with Manning residing there now. I just don't buy that he's going to come in and be a 100% right away.

The AFCN is a tough DIV IMO, mainly because that DIV DEF is crazy. The worst team in the DIV was ranked 5th in PPG and 10th in YPG. The Browns, if we would've had the worse DEF in the AFCN, we would've went 12-4 at the least.

AFCN

NFCN

As evidenced the past few years the NFC East should be the toughest in the league. Every year they beat up on each other and drive down overall records. This last year the entire division was decided by 1 game. Next up would be the tough one, solely based on Tampa and Carolinas recent struggles and the Norths ability to beat the South I give them the nod.

The AFC is pretty cut and dry, East and North rule that conference.

Soooo.... Pretty much the North and the East out of both conferences.

PS: The NFC South will take over as the toughest in all of football all because of :cam:

For the same reason and from a Panthers point of view, the NFCSouth will be the easiest.

My surprise team next year is the Titans while my surprise drop team is Detroit. I just see a slight drop back from them like 8-8 to 9-7 drop from them while finishing 3rd in the division.

Based nothing on last years performance (and solely on next years potential), here is how I would rate the divisions:

NFC North: 3 potential playoff teams: Lions, Packers, Bears

AFC North: 3 potential playoff teams: Ravens, Bengals, Steelers

NFC East: 3 potential playoff teams: Cowboys, Eagles, Giants

NFC South 3 potetntial playoff teams: Saints*, Falcons, Panthers

AFC East 2 potential playoff teams: Patriots, Bills

NFC West 2 potential playoff teams: 49ers, Seahawks

AFC West Division Winner playoff team only (toss up on who that will be, probably at a record of 8-8 or 9-7)

AFC South Division Winner playoff team only (Texans, if healthy, Titans if Texans are not)

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
