Beason expects to be running with the ones in traing camp

It has been a huge question and a big reason we drafted Kuechly. The answer won't be known for sure until the season actually starts.

Whether Beason is running with the first team in training camp won't be answered until ;the season starts?

No. Whether he is able to play at his pre-injury level, of course.

Not what this thread is about. Running with the ones at training camp and playing this season at his previous level are completely different things.

Of course the thread is about whether he is fully recovered or not. Running with the ones and not being 100% wouldn't really mean anything now would it??? Stop being so concrete.

So no way he runs with the ones unless he is 100%? Bullshit

“I’ll be out there. I’ll take the reps with the ones (first-teamers),” Beason said. “Camp is a grind. I expect it to be sore. You’re going to have good days and bad days. It’s just camp, even if you are healthy. Getting in football shape is always a tough task. I’ll do as much as I can and be smart about it.”

Sounds like Beason agrees with me. 100% or not, he is running with the ones. Plenty of players start in camp without being fully healed. To say Beason won't is beyond retarded.

Once again you miss the point. If he runs with the ones and isn't 100% then he would be a liability. Running with the 1s and not being fully recovered would hardly be news or thread worthy. I am sure that those who are expecting him to be starting in camp are also expecting him to be fully recovered.

    • It’s going to get wild after this Sunday.  I would assume Dave has a really smart plan.   Sorta like the AZ plan last year.    After a big turnover heavy  bad game Bryce normally reels it in.  Bryce will have one of his standard 60% for 200 days and the Bryce defenders will use that as a “ I told you he is good” games.
    • Bryce is a really smart kid and I'm sure he knows all the answers to the test but he hasn't been able to overcome his lack of physical tools and other DC's know this and play him accordingly. I think Bryce has good processing but when the correct read is the WR 30 to 40 yards down field and you have a defensive lineman coming at you what can he really do? He just doesn't have the arm to effectively and consistently hurt the defense and I think that's what's gonna do him in.  Pime example look at the INT versus Dallas last year when Thelien was wide open down the seam and Bryce threw it from a clean pocket and the ball was way short. Dc's watched that and knew that Bryce can't throw the ball deep.
    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
