SB Nation Rankings

I agree about DeAngelo... But we disagree about Arian Foster, and that's okay. We're both type A personalities and likely won't change our minds even if presented with overwhelming stats! That's what makes us E-Friends! Lol

Foster is pretty sick...2 back to back seasons with at least 1800+ total yards and double digit scores. I think that holds some weight in this guys rankings.

Line up RBs and just have them run....Williams is tough to beat to date. Which most do overlook outside the Carolinas.

What does that have to do with anything?

He won't be anywhere close to protein difficient or any other horribly ignorant crap like that.

Who said anything about him being protein deficient? Nuts have all kinds of protein in them... Maybe you jumped the gun, and made an assumption and now maybe you look ignorant?

It holds serious weight that backs up your opinion... But again... If Williams or Stewart for that matter were FEATURED backs like he is... And weren't splitting carries... I believe that either could surpass those numbers easily... Hell, they both did in the same year!!!

Well Ben Tate almost had 1000 yards last year and Foster put his production again...so last year wasn't just Foster getting all the touches

Putting up 2200+ total yards in season isn't something lots of RBs have pulled off even going back to the feature back era.. Durability + talent factor in. That is a lot of production. Foster is legit at this stage

Again not arguin his production.... But you're obviously wearing blinders in this disagreement that we're currently having.

Foster did miss 3 games last season which gave Tate 300 of those 942 in his absence. Subtract those and he's down to 642 (avg for the new two back system)

As I said before, but this time I'll ask you directly since you keep ignoring my comments...

Do you really NOT think that if DeAngelo or J-Stew were FEATURED backs as Foster is... That they couldn't put up similar if not even better #'s???? There, now maybe I'll get a direct answer from you.

It's the common mistake, but how would vastly improving his overall health and wellness hurt his durability?

Please prove to me in a clinical study how becoming a Vegan "vastly improves his health and wellness" as opposed to someone who eats a normal regular diet

speaking of jumping the gun, what exactly about becoming a vegan would reduce his effectiveness?

Just a hunch... He's playing a physical sport at the highest of levels... Without being a carnivore, I just don't see the same hunger in him as before... Pun intended

Plus I don't trust people that don't eat meat. Something that my Grandpa told me a long time ago, and it has stuck over the years.

I will NOT draft him in my fantasy this year, that's for sure.

Edit: I don't have a problem with Vegans... It's your life and your choice...

Depends.

In a Fox offense? I think both could reach reach about 1800-1900 yards rushing as a feature RB in their prime.

In this offense? On this team? Think it gets more fuzzy...I think Stewart has the chance for more total yards and I think total yards is what you would have to look at. 2200+ is a lot...

TCF quit assing up this thread please and thanks

i'm perfectly content with a number two ranking. cam is not up for consideration because he is not a running back, and given williams has ended the last two seasons on IR i'd say our ranking is perfectly fair, maybe even generous.

that #30 safety rating hurts. i really hope nakamura can come in and contribute immediately.

to even ask that question proves that you have not even bothered to search for your own answers. There are numerous studies that could fill a thread. Do you seriously believe that a diet of baconators and philly cheese steaks prepares athletes better??

http://www.ajcn.org/content/89/5/1627S.full

so much more. google "China Study", "Dr. Esselstyne", and many more. netflix "forks over knives".... Vegan diets should be supplemented with vitamins and protein should be monitored or consider egg whites or very limited animal protein sources if truly worried about protein.

not trying to derail thread. just a lot of info out there you could use.
