8/1 Training camp, Twitter thread

By the way, I have pulled for Edwards since he was drafted. I am probably one of the few that own an autographed Armanti Edwards football card, but he frustrates the hell out of me.

It's tough to understand how a player can show up in training camp but disappear in games (even preseason games). My only explanation is that the defense in training camp doesn't go balls out as where during the preseason players are flying all over the place trying to make their respective teams roster.

Last year, it looked to me like he was afraid of contact in pre-season games. Maybe he has gotten over this. I'm skeptical, but we should just watch this play out rather than rushing to judgement now.

Rivera getting a little frustrated with all the young guys on the sidelines, particularly Norman and Hogan. Said Butler has stepped up.

Otah expressed to Panthers he wants to keep playing. No decision yet on if he will go on PuP list. Stay tuned tomorrow.

So no decision on Otah's future yet. They will see how the physical goes. Physical isn't complete.

Per Ron Green tweet, Thomas Davis says there is absolutely nothing wrong with his repaired knee, and he expects to be back soon.

Great news for TD. I barely even worry any more about his contribution to the defense, but I really, really, want to see him play this year for his own sake.

Good to hear the good news. I really hope TD keeps on getting better in the knee and stays that way through out the season.

I just wonder what could possibly be bothering Davis already. If he's sitting out after the first day of contact, what's going to happen during the regular season?

I want Armanti to succeed. He was put in a bad position. Not his fault. Switching from small time college QB to pro NFL receiver is not easy. If he doesn't get the job done, so be it you cut him. If he does turn things around then great! I don't have the energy to hate my own teams players. There are plenty of guys on the Saints* and Falcons I can hate.

I love TD to death, and I hope he plays 10 more seasons. Let's just get that out of the way before people think I'm the next Mr. Touchdown...

But I feel like I've heard him see he's good, he's 100% before. I wanna know why he had to sit out, I know it had to do with his leg. If I was in his situation I wouldn't say anything yet either. I really hope it was just a cramp or something.

who cares, the dude is very talented and in no way in jeopardy of losing a roster spot. Let him ease his way back in. His rehab work is top notch as well too, just go back and watch the first 2 games last year, he was sideline to sideline...like he was never injured.

    • There's gonna be a mutiny on the bounty up there. What a fuggin idiot.
    • I’ve heard that Vegas looks at only 3 things when predicting games and setting the line 1. HC     2  Qb       3. Injuries  If that flash card is true, then it is the Bills to win   Add to it, , the Bills have lost 2 in a row and coming off a bye   They cannot afford to allow the Patriots to hang around by getting a 3rd loss.   That does not bode well for Carolina  to me though  1. it is all on the Panthers oline.  If Lewis returns at full strength, and perform at a high level, huge. 2 the defense needs to pressure and spy on Allen. Stop Allen and you stop the Bills   He is their biggest threat  he will make plays but make him pay for every single one  3. Canales, lord have mercy, for the love of god, don’t overthink this…start Rico, run Rico and no trick plays…      START RICO.  RUN THE BALL WITH RICO. RUN THE BALL WITH RICO        Control, the clock   Keep Allen on the bench        IF YOU ARE GOING  To PASS, PLAY ACTION ON FIRST  DOWN If 1 thru 3 happen            Panthers 30.  Bills 28 and joy reigns in the Queen City
    • To be fair we don't know how Mccaffrey would have looked had he been drafted by the Saints with Sean Peyton and Drew Brees Nor how Kamara would have looked with Mike Shula.
