Scouting the dolphins via hard knocks

I've been following this season so I'll give my take on the Dolphins.

David Garrard is out with a knee injury that required surgery. Matt Moore was supposed to start, but the fans are in love with Tannehill, so he'll get the go ahead. He is coming along and looks pretty solid but he lacks the backing of his teammates because he's a rookie and needs to work on planting his feet before he throws (always on the run).

They lack any real offensive weapons and were hoping Chad Johnson would help with the passing game. No receivers have really stepped up. Roberto Wallace is a 3rd year player and has the physical abilities to be their go to, but he hasn't shown much yet. Still struggles to get separation. One guy to watch is WR Rookie Chris Hogan. Reggie Bush nicknamed him 7-11 because he's always open.

Solid OLine led by Jake Long. Speaks for itself.

They could use some work on their secondary. Tyrell Johnson S has looked good in practice and swatted everything thrown to Chad Johnson's way. Corner Vontae Davis lacks the work ethic needed to be success

    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
    • I'm more intrigued at him becoming our future LG. There were some people who thought he was better suited to be a guard in the NFL to begin with.  Then if Freeling ends up being a legit LT, moving Ickey to LG could give us an incredibly strong left side of our OL for years to come. Ickey has only played on the Left side his whole career, both in college and the NFL, so I just wonder if keeping him on the left side, even if shifting inside, would be better than putting him outside on the right side. Just hoping him growing up a Panthers fan will make him want to stay here and move positions than enter FA so he can stay at LT somewhere else, particularly since LT is the big money position on the OL, so he likely can get paid more by someone else to play LT than play LG or RT here for us.
