Hardy at best will probably form into a 5 sack a year guy, possibly another Al Wallace in the making. Not too particularly imposing in one position, but an all around solid rotational guy. This doesn't make our Defensive End rotation any weaker though. With a line-up of Hardy, Keiser, Alexander, Applewhite (who's been EVERYWHERE this preseason) I'm actually pretty content as a fan.

These last 2 games Hardy has gone against 2 LTs that are very good, Long doesn't really need an explanation and Ferguson has been to 3 straight Pro Bowls.

But Hardy doesn't have the motor of Kieser. Kieser needs more reps.

Kieser gets sacks in interesting ways. He's an effort guy. That doesn't mean that he always gets pressure though. Having said that, he should definitely be used quite a bit as part of a rotation this year.

CJ didn't get a sack facing who??? Alexander and kieser must be better than him too! Our pass rush looked poor against the 1st team. Those guys did a great job against backups.

As Long as Hardy can Set the edge and get after run plays his style will allow him to get pressures.
